Woods Working: Tips for Moving Through the Pandemic

Dear ones –

As we enjoy the blessed rain we have right now, let us add another tool to our box of ways to move through the chaos: Let’s HUM! – Yes, you read that right, Hum! Place your hands together in the prayer position over your heart. Hum on different pitches until you feel the vibrations on the backs of your thumbs against your sternum. Then raise and lower the pitch and feel how it moves up and down on your sternum. You are giving your heart a massage. If the sound gets full enough, you are literally massaging your torso, and you may feel a relaxation reflex as well. Play with this as long as you like. It can only help your heart, mind, and spirit.
