Share the Plate with VoteRiders Sunday, September 18

Voters in many places across the country are facing new and stricter voter ID laws. VoteRiders is taking on this challenge by protecting everyone’s right to vote:

  • Providing voter ID information in English and Spanish to voters in all 50 states via our free Voter ID Helpline, online resources, educational wallet cards, and on-the-ground teams.
  • Working directly with voters (in person and virtually) to ensure they have everything they need to cast their ballot. This includes covering costs for required documents, arranging and paying for transportation, providing free legal help, and more.
  • Hosting in-person voter ID clinics with partner organizations to provide one-on-one assistance to voters who need help obtaining ID and other required documents.

Your donation will fund state-specific Voter ID Information Cards and public outreach via phone, text, chat, and in-person, to educate voters on the often-confusing rules. Help ensure that every American can cast a ballot that counts.

Donations can be made from the Friday before the service through the Tuesday following the service, using PayPal link https://www.uufrc.org/community/giving/ and writing “Share the Plate” in the memo line. On the Sunday of the collection, all donations, unless otherwise specified, go to Share the Plate.
