Second Harvest Food Bank is our Share-the-Plate recipient for August. Second Harvest is committed to doing whatever it takes to end hunger in our community. That means distributing nutritious food to nearly every neighborhood in Silicon Valley, leveraging every available food resource, and collaborating with organizations and people who share our belief that hunger is unacceptable. Nutritious food is the foundation for a healthy, productive life.

Donations can be made from the Friday before the service through the Tuesday following the service, using PayPal link https://www.uufrc.org/community/giving/ and writing “Share the Plate” in the memo line. Please make donations via charitable giving accounts (e.g. Donor Advisory Funds) payable to “UUFRC” and put the Share the Plate recipient name in the memo line. On the Sunday of the collection, all donations, unless otherwise specified, go to Share the Plate.
