The enormity and seriousness of Climate Change can seem overwhelming resulting in a feeling of helplessness. The Jewish Talmud states “You are not obligated to complete the work, but neither are you free to abandon it.” For today’s worship service Rev. Brian will be joined by Climate Activist Jim Thompson, the founder of the organization This! Is What We Did whose Mission is to break the power of the Fossil Fuel industry. Together they will explore what we can do to stay motivated and take concrete steps to address climate change. At noon after this worship service, Jim will present a workshop about the work of his organization.
