Spirit of Life, Come Unto Me

Watch Live!. The hymn, “Spirit of Life,” is one of the most well known hymns in our hymnal. It also loved by many in our movement, and there are a few who would be happy to never sing it again. How very Unitarian Universalist! Familiarity may not breed contempt, but can cause us to miss the powerful sentiments expressed in the words of this hymn. Spirit of life, come unto me – is the opening and closing line of the hymn. What are we asking for when we sing these words? This worship service will meditate and explore some of the familiar lyrics of this song. Worship Associate: Tracey Fecher
