Order of Service

Many of us have a history or tradition of Thanksgiving, as a time for connecting to family and reflection. The memories of our past Thanksgivings – from the most recent to our early childhoods – are filled with meaning and emotion. Yet the holiday is also associated with colonialism and racism, as we are especially reminded as part of Native American Heritage month. How do we hold onto the positive memories and feelings of the past while also dealing with the negative associations? Worship Associate: Jeanne DeShazo
