Worship Service – The Essence of Religious Community
In our modern world, many of us struggle to feel a real sense of community and seeking such a community can be one of the primary factors that attract people to church. The value and very idea of community has been challenged through the consequences of the COVID 19 pandemic. Being part of a community can give greater meaning and purpose to our life, but it can also challenge us to limit our individual freedom to be a responsible and accountable part of the community. This worship service will explore the tension of being in a religious community and what makes a community religious as distinct from other groups in our lives.
