Rental Facility Description
The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Redwood City, UUFRC, is located in a tranquil Redwood City neighborhood midway between San Francisco and Silicon Valley. We are approximately one mile from Redwood City Transit Center. Our building reflects our commitment to the inclusion of people of all ages, abilities, and mobilities, as well as our dedication to being a Green Sanctuary. Our focus for rental is for not-for-profit groups and organizations, though milestone celebrations and recitals will be considered.
As you approach UUFRC, you will come upon a quaint front patio area that is perfect for a gathering prior to or after your event. UUFRC has several rooms available for rent by individuals and groups, ranging from small meeting rooms to large halls that will accommodate up to 175 people. We also have a state-of-the-art audiovisual (AV) service that can support online streaming for your event.
We have a Co-Op preschool using our facilities during the week; the names of the back rooms reflect how the school uses the space. We use the space for a variety of adult and children’s activities.
NOTE: Minister office near Brewster Ave entrance includes a small bathroom with toilet and sink.

This room is an open floor design that can support seating, dancing, or tables. The balcony has traditional church pew seating. The sanctuary has recently been upgraded to provide full digital audio and video production and projection facilities which can support overflow crowds, Zoom integration and streaming.
A high-quality baby grand piano is located in the Sanctuary which can be used with an additional rental fee.
UUFRC does not require that you be a member to use our facilities for events such as weddings, memorials, or recognition of other life events that are typically conducted by a minister or religious practitioner. You and your religious leadership are welcome here.

The Social Hall has an open floor plan designed for flexible use. This linoleum floor room provides direct access to the kitchen and a comfortable lounge area that seats approximately 15 people. Perfect for meetings, gatherings and receptions.
The kitchen is located at one end of the Social Hall and is equipped with two gas stoves for a total of eight burners, two ovens, and two microwaves ovens. There are two double sinks, a refrigerator and a commercial dishwasher.

This room can be split into two equal areas by a sliding divider. The room is carpeted and has two bathrooms and access to the Sanctuary. Along with the side yard (pictures below), It contains several child play facilities that make it perfect for a supervised childcare area. Because of the access to the Sanctuary, it is a flexible space as a staging room for events such as weddings, performances or meetings.

This room is carpeted and looks out into the atrium and contains a large sectional couch, a movable loveseat, and several chairs. There is a wall mounted 65” screen with HDMI connections, white board and 8’ long counter space. This is a wonderful room for a small meeting or gathering.

This space is normally set up with child size furniture and has a sink, counter, and linoleum flooring perfect for doing projects or small meetings. The room opens out into the side yard hosting the child play area.

This is a comfortable carpeted space that is normally set up with child size furniture. Perfect for small meetings. It is also a good setup for a supervised childcare area. The room opens out into the side yard hosting the child play area.
