February Fellowship Events

If you are new to our Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, the activities below are easy to participate in, and don’t require large amounts of time. You are welcome to join us in any of them. 2/2  9 am – 12 noon: Happy Trails Hiking Group

Join us for our annual 3.5-mile bird-watching walk around the Palo Alto Baylands. 

2/3 11:45 am: Welcome Circle

This informal meeting is an opportunity to learn more about our Fellowship, our faith, and what we offer here. We meet for about 30 minutes following the Sunday worship service.

2/3 7pm: Chant Night celebrating Imbolc

Join us for an hour of chanting, silence, lighting candles, and readings.

2/4 7:30 – 9 pm:Book Group

The Book Discussion Group meets the first Monday of each month for a lively talk about their reading. This month’s book is Big Little Lies by Australian author Liane Moriarty.

2/5 7 – 9 pm: Men’s Group

The Men’s Group meets the first and Third Tuesdays of each month from Sept – June to explore

2/7  7 – 9 pm: Women’s Circle

The Women’s Circle meets the 1st Thursday of each month. They gather together in support and exploration. Topics and activities vary month to month.

2/10 12 noon – 2:30 pm: “Getting to Know UUFRC” class

If you are new to our Fellowship this class will help you get to know us on a deeper level. Our history, values, and opportunities for involvement are explored, as well as what it means to be a member. A light lunch is served; RSVP’s are needed by 2/8 to email noted at top of page.

2/17 at 2 pm: Poetry Reading

UUFRC Poet in Residence, Lee Rossi, will read poems from his new book “Darwin’s Garden”. Join us in the Social Hall to chat, mingle, listen, and enjoy refreshments.

2/20 7 – 9pm: Knitting & Crocheting Group

Meets the 3rdWednesday of each month. Join us for an evening of good company and conversationas we make Love Wraps for congregants in need of support. All skill levels welcome.

Choir: Thursday evenings 7:30 – 9pm

Do you enjoy singing? Our choir typically sings twice a month for our Sunday service. All that is needed is enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Our Music Director, Dawn Reyen, make choir a joy!
