Supporting and Enhancing Couple and Family Relationships. Class offered by Barbara White PhD.

The Learning Journey and Youth and Family Committee are sponsoring a life skills course this spring “Supporting and Enhancing Couple and Family Relationships.” The class will be offered by UUFRC member, Barbara White, Ph.D. It will be an in-person course so parents can get to know each other better and create a more supportive community in which to raise and launch their children. In this course we will have the opportunity to:
 Discover what makes a marriage strong, happy, and successful, despite external pressures.
 Understand how intimate partnerships are affected by raising a family.
 Develop new perspectives and learn how to warm up and enhance our partnerships.
 Recognize the challenges that arise at different stages of the life cycle.
 Build a lasting foundation by learning new Tools to manage these challenges over time.
 Learn how living our UU values helps us strengthen our relationships.
