This special worship will be a time of reflection, prayer, music, and silence to acknowledge our variety of emotions on the day after the election. We live in a politically contentious and divisive time with this election being a significant source of uncertainty, anxiety and focus for many of us. These emotions will still be with us and evolve no matter the outcome. Amidst all the other struggles and uncertainty of 2020 many of us feel stretched to the edge emotionally. This will not be a time of politically partisan commiseration or celebration but hopefully a time of connection and support for each of us.
