It’s fun and easy and open to anyone over 14 years of age. The warehouse is conveniently located at 1051 Bing Street in San Carlos between Old County Road and Industrial Way.

Come join your fellow UUs in this good work and help get nutritious food out to hungry families here in our county. In 2018, volunteers contributed more than 314,000 hours of service, almost doubling the size of the staff.

This is different than the work we do at the Yaseen Foundation one Saturday each month. There we distribute food to families. At the warehouse, we will be sorting food to deliver to families.

Each volunteer must register online.

For volunteers under the age of 18, both Youth Permission Form and Volunteer Agreement are required, and a parent or guardian over the age of 21 must accompany those youth between the age of 14 and 15 years of age.

The dress code at the Food Bank is casual and comfortable but closed-toe shoes and long pants are required. No shorts and no tank tops are permitted. Please leave all valuables in the trunk of your car, don’t bring in purses or backpacks.
