Fools Mission is a community organization based on friendship, supportive compassion, and respect for our differences. We build solidarity among people from all walks of life, including all levels of access to wealth and privilege.
Fools Mission members accompany each other to medical appointments, school meetings, government-service agencies, court appearances, and other meetings with power disparity.
Through Participatory Defense, members work with defendants facing criminal charges, their public defenders, and their families to prepare a more effective defense.
During Theatre of the Oppressed workshops, everyone plays the role of actor and observer, teacher and student. Here, people from different socioeconomic backgrounds, races, and cultures have the opportunity to teach one another about their life experiences.
Support Fools Mission as we continue to build community, foster respect, expand justice, and reduce inequality here on the San Francisco Peninsula.
