“Prose Poems, Flash Fiction, Short Shorts and other forms of Instant Poetry”
Over 3 weeks we’ll read and create our own instant poetry. No experience needed, just a willingness to explore oneself. Robert Frost might call this “tennis without the net,” but people have been writing prose poems for a century and a half, and many of them are as resonant and moving as verse in meter and rhyme. Join us for the fun. Oh, the teacher will be Lee Rossi, who in his lengthy career as a poet has published many a prose poem.
