Congregation Beth Jacob and its Tikvah Committee have invited Professor Irshad Manjii for a “Don’t Label Me” weekend April 22-23. They are paying Prof. Irshad to fly out that weekend as part of their efforts to evolve their culture to ensure open, curious, and respectful dialogue across diverse points of view within the congregation, community, and their own families. They are hosting workshops for 9-12 graders and adults on how to cope with today’s polarization challenges. One of the workshops is at UUFRC.
