Carpool from UUFRC
On Saturday, January 4, we’ll start the new year with a hike in this brand-new open space preserve — BEAR CREEK REDWOODS
We’ll climb 800 feet to the halfway point of a 5.4-mile loop around Alma and Redwood Springs trails. These trails traverse densely wooded fir and redwood forests and bay and oak woodlands. If we so desire, we can also add a 2-mile round-trip detour up another 600 feet to Madrone Knoll.
Meet at the UU Fellowship a little bit before 9am to form carpools. According to MROSD, the parking lot fills up quickly on weekends so we must leave promptly at 9am.
Bring lunch and water.
Hope to see you on the trail, Kaye
